What a fun and inspired night at the Fundraiser for the Festival de Cine in Todos Santos. Mark Gabriel got his talking shoes on to help raise money for the local film school and is auctioning off a painting to help do it. ‘Alice in Wonderland’ re-envisioned by the kids as ‘Alicia en el País de las Ballenas” (Alicia in the land of the Whales’) is on film and now also on Acrylic and Canvas.
The film; written, produced and performed by the kids exalts the natural beauty of Baja and sends an important message to the world about the conservation of our Oceans. While the film is still in post production, it is set to premiere at the festival in late March. Until then let’s raise some money to help them.
The painting is up for Silent auction with the bids currently at $900 usd. You can make a bid by DM or directly with the Film Festival.. Come by and have a peek, it will be at the Gallery until the end of the film festival March 29, 2020.
